New record in power generation

The highest electricity production in the country’s history was recorded on Monday (April 22) at 9 pm. During this time, 16 thousand 233 megawatts of electricity has been produced.

The Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin confirmed this information in a press release.

It is said in the notification that severe heat is currently going on across the country. Right now, the power department is working earnestly to ensure uninterrupted power generation to maintain peace in public life.

It should be noted that earlier the record of highest electricity production was last Sunday 15 thousand 666 megawatts.
