The European Union (EU) Naval Force’s Operation Atlanta released three pictures of the Bangladeshi ship MV Abdullah after it was freed from Somali pirates.

The Bangladeshi flag ship ‘MV Abdullah’ has been released after being held captive by Somali pirates for 33 days. After being freed, the ship with 23 sailors left under special security on the way to Al Harmia port in Dubai.

Two warships of the European Union (EU) naval mission are escorting the MV Abdullah towards Dubai under tight security.

The European Union (EU) Naval Force’s Operation Atlanta released three pictures of the Bangladeshi ship MV Abdullah after it was freed from Somali pirates.

The photo, released on UNAVFOR’s ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) handle, shows two warships from Operation Atlanta guarding the MV Abdullah.

Meherul Karim, Chief Executive Officer of Chittagong Kabir (KSRM) Group, the owner of the ship, said that the ship was seen with 23 sailors in the video. The ship’s captain recorded a video. It showed two warships of the European Union Naval Mission approaching the MV Abdullah.
