Rajshahi University admission test for 2023-24 academic year is going on. Last Tuesday was the admission test of ‘C’ unit. On this day, about 700 candidates boarded the Dhumketu Express train from Dhaka to participate in the examination of the fourth shift. However, as the engine of the train broke down in the middle of the journey, the aspirants who boarded the train were apprehensive about participating in the admission test. But due to the General Manager of Western Railway, the students finally got the chance to participate in the exam.

“Today (05/03/2024) admission test of Rajshahi University has started. It can be called an admission war rather than a test. About 700 students will come from Dhaka by Dhumketu Express train today and participate in the entrance examination at 3:30 pm.
Dhumketu Express departs from Dhaka late due to rail break. Calculated at 11 am, it was found that the train will reach Rajshahi by 3:00 pm. Thinking about the examinees, I was bringing the train forward by seating another train. The luck is so bad, when Laheri arrives at Mohanpur station, the comet’s engine fails, the wheel does not turn. What can be done, what can be done, thinking about the candidates, I cut the engine of the Chilahati Express train sitting in Saratnagar and restarted the comet.
I saw that the train will reach Rajshahi at 4 pm, then the exam will start. I humbly request the Honorable VC Sir to withdraw during the examination. He called me about 4 times to inquire about the train. The train is running at the maximum permissible speed. Worry doesn’t go away. The examination of the candidates has become uncertain. I passed through without stopping the train at Arani station stop without looking at the way.
I don’t call God very much, thinking about the exam candidates, I started calling them, and made a little vow. God seemed to be kind, I stopped the train at Rajshahi University Station, it was 3:38 pm. If there is a race, you have to enter before 4 o’clock. I humbly requested the VC to allow boys and girls to enter the hall. He continued and thanked everyone in the railways. DRM (Pakshi) monitors all the time in Pakshi control in train operation. Now I feel quite lighter.”
