No shortage of sugar during Ramadan: State Minister for Commerce | State Minister fir Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu said that there is no possibility of sugar shortage in the market due to fire in S Alam factory or any other reason. Still, if anyone wants to destabilize the market during Ramadan, they have to be strict.Ahsanul Islam said, there are some opportunistic people who always want to make profit by using the market management error as an excuse. We are trying to control them.The state minister said that on the instructions of the prime minister, 1 crore people are being given daily necessities every month through TCB. At the same time, digital cards are being given to the customers receiving TCB services after verifying their information. The state minister said that customers have to work hard to buy TCB products. To reduce this suffering, TCB dealership shops will be designated.He also said that the price of food in the international market has increased due to various global reasons. Still we are delivering products at affordable prices. I am giving Tk 163 oil for Tk 100, Tk 140 sugar for Tk 70.Ahsanul Haque Titu said, by selling products to these 1 crore customers through TCB, the market pressure will be reduced a lot. As a result, common consumers can also shop easily.Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Tapan Kanti Ghosh and TCB Chairman Brigadier General Md. Ariful Hasan also spoke.
