At the 66th Grammy Awards, pop superstar Taylor Swift has clinched the award for the best album of the year for her album “Midnights”. This marks her fourth win in this category, setting a record once again.

Previously, Taylor shared the title of best album with music legends Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra for their respective albums. But this time, she surpassed them.

Another iconic singer, Celine Dion, presented Taylor with the award for best album. Celine, who has been battling a rare vocal disorder, expressed her joy at being on stage after a long time and received warm applause from the audience.

Speaking gratefully, Taylor said, “Winning this award feels like the culmination of my hard work. I love making music because it brings me joy. It’s very rewarding for me. It feels great to know that my songs bring joy to those who voted for me.”

During her acceptance speech, Taylor announced her next album, “The Torchard Poet’s Department,” which will be released worldwide on April 19.

At Sunday’s event (February 4th), Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish took home other top awards. Miley Cyrus was selected as Record of the Year for her album “Flower”. She also won the award for Best Solo Performance (Flower). The best song of the year was chosen as “What was I Made for” by Billie Eilish from the Barbie movie.

In addition, rapper Mike has won three Grammy Awards. However, he couldn’t fully enjoy his success as local police took him away due to the disruption caused during the event.

This marks Swift’s fourth win for the best album of the year. She previously won this award for her albums “Fearless” in 2010, “1989” in 2016, and “Folklore” in 2021.
