Hijacked Bangladeshi flag ship MV Abdullah with 23 sailors has been freed from Somali pirates’ captivity.
After 33 days of hijacking, the ship was freed from the pirates. This has been confirmed by the KSRM Group, the company that owns the ship.

According to the organization, the pirates released the ship today after the ongoing negotiations with the pirates regarding the release of the ship and sailors were successfully completed.
However, nothing has been reported about how much money has been paid as ransom.
The ship is currently en route to Dubai and all the sailors are physically healthy. Mehrul Karim, Chief Executive Officer of KSRM Group expressed hope that the ship will reach the port of Dubai on April 19.
