At the beginning of Ramadan, the donation and construction of the mosque was formally announced by the president of the mosque committee, Haji Oths Man bin Ngadimin, a local citizen. He also confirmed the donation at this time. The Malaysian citizen who donated was present at the announcement but asked not to be named.

At this time, Mohammad Ibrahim Molla, who is in overall supervision of the mosque, thanked for coming forward to fulfill the dream of building a mosque for the expatriate Bangladeshis.

Earlier, only two ringgits were allocated to this land by the government to build mosques for Bangladeshis. Meanwhile, the expatriate Bangladeshis are very excited about the announcement of the construction of the mosque.
