France-Egypt-Jordan demand a permanent ceasefire in Gaza | Israel continues to attack the Palestinian territory of Gaza. About 33,000 Palestinians have been killed in this attack that has been going on for almost six months. The outrage against Israel is growing worldwide because of this barbaric aggression.

In this situation, France, Egypt and Jordan have demanded a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. They made this demand after meeting in Cairo. Meanwhile, Iran-backed Palestinian armed group Islamic Jihad has vowed victory against Israel.

Al Jazeera reported this information on Sunday (March 31).

The media said the foreign ministers of Egypt, France and Jordan called for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” in Gaza and the release of all prisoners held by Hamas. The request was made after a meeting of three diplomats in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Saturday.

The news agency AFP says that after the meeting, French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejour also spoke at a joint press conference. He said there that his government would submit a draft resolution to the UN Security Council for a “political” settlement of the war.

He added that the proposal would include “all the criteria of a two-state solution” to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Although the international community has long supported the establishment of two separate states, mainly to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian crisis, the Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opposes it.

Meanwhile, Iran-backed Palestinian armed group Islamic Jihad has vowed victory against Israel, Al Jazeera reported. Iranian state media reported that the Islamic Jihad leader met Iran’s foreign minister for talks in Tehran.

Ziad al-Nakhallah confidently said his party would “win the war” in Gaza and thanked Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdullahian for his support for the Palestinians, the country’s state news agency IRNA reported.

Al-Nakhallah was quoted as saying, “Active diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has played a major role in strengthening the position of the Palestinian resistance.”

On the other hand, 26 members of the Palestine Red Crescent were killed in the Israeli attack. The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says Israeli forces have killed 26 members of its group since the war in Gaza began.

The group also said around 15 of its workers had been killed “while carrying out their humanitarian duties and wearing the safe symbol of the Red Crescent”.
